A day sailing from Taormina to the Aeolian Islands
A wonderful way to experience this side of Sicily. You can begin your tour at the port of the nearby town of Giardini Naxos. From here, you can venture to Isola Bella (in English, beautiful island), with its marvellous Grotta Azzurra (in English, blue cave), or to the bay of Spisone, or the bay of Mazzarò, nestled between two rocky tips reaching into the sea. You will see the beautiful town of Taormina from the sea, perched on the mountain’s side. You can snorkel and discover the sea bed and the beautiful life forms that dwell there. A day on a sailing boat could also be a perfect idea for a bachelor or a bachelorette party, or a romantic getaway to go see the sun set on the seaside.
